tldr, price action overall is easily manipulated by articial selling/buying pressure alongside predictable cyclical market events, due to unique rules certain features of the US markets have. rules which the majority of the world fixed in their own markets after 2000/2008 but the US kept because those rules are specifically designed to allow for blatant price manipulation (which makes it incredibly easy for those in the know, especially wallstreet/banks to suck up $)

surely this article from a AI-pusher aligned with... *checks notes* ...some eastern european business school with connections to MIT/Harvard, has the best interests of wikipedia/the public in mind. and isnt just using this in a thinly vieled attelpy at pushing the adoption of AIslop

there was this funny (dark haha) video of some marines handing grenades out when kids asked for candy. forget what it's called and cant find it anymore, pretty sure the DoD's propaganda wing tried to scrub it from the internet. was made by some of their combat-camera people

you definitely *can* do things about it, but there's a whole sphere of influence/realistic expectations type shit everyone should consider, when trying to do something about it. worrying about things you can't control and that don't immediately effect you or the ones close to you you (i hate English) care about is just draining and robs you of agency over the things you can control. also We Didn't Start the Fire

the people paying attention to the news constantly and using that to actually makw change are not watching a constant stream of it from their phone...they're coordinating in groups to affect the most effecient change for their time/sphere of influence (first step generally being to secure the local government, the majority in the US are captured by local business/real estate baron interests) if your sphere of influence just comprises your immediate family and friends, it does you no good to occupy your mind with the suffering of those halfway across the world (unless you think their suffering is tied to an easily solvable problem you have the answer to). doing so just robs you of energy/agency to affect change where you can have the most impact. there's saying i don't remember where it's from... before you fix the world you have to fix your country, before you fix your country you have to fix your community, before you fix your community you have to fix your neighborhood, before you fix your neighborhood you have to fix your family, before you fix your family you have to fix yourself.

eh, from a pragmatic business perspective...i see why they all bend the knee. capitalists are by their nature universal opportunists. they will show loyalty to israel up until the moment it looks like they don't have control over the US's collar, the moment that happens though they do a 180. same way so many "pro-lgbtq" businesses flipped to anti-dei narrative the second it looked more profitable.the only thing sacred under capitalism is your line going up, everything that doesn't directly service that goal day-to-day is performative

the thing that gets me is these people don't realize there's a much easier way to make $ not working...just play the stock market, that's what all the big rich fucks who don't do any real work do. it's one big casino that most people buy into passively, especially in bubbles like this...it's incredibly easy to make shitloads of $. it's so easy that you quickly lose any interest in "grinding". it's certainly not fulfilling though...gambling is no way to make a living.

we need some kind of brain scan tech to just tell us what just what kind of fucked up brain chemistry we have. right now it seems like the primary diagnosis method is just taking a smorgasbord board of different meds until (hopefully) one of them clicks.

nah, they’re basically the best shovel sellers around. practically all their deals take payment up front on top of some form of constant monetization a/o various types of financing schemes (that generally involve getting outside parties to foot the bill) it’s obviously a bubble and they will correct along with everything else eventually but compared to the rest NVDA will likely come out far far ahead of everyone else because they bring in actual revenue
