Recently, I decided to rawdog getting an openGL (and now, Vulkan) surface on Win32 without SDL and GLFW for the funsies. Made me appreciate GLFW more...
I specifically want to address the deliberate idiosyncracies Microsoft put in to make getting an openGL surface harder.
Getting a openGL 1.1 surface on Windows is pretty easy, all you have to do is use wglCreateContext() paired with wglMakeCurrent().
but OpenGL 3.3? Oh boy.

@skyblitz@kanoa.de To be fair to Mozilla, their JS engine (SpiderMonkey) is primarily in Rust iirc. So is their webGPU implementation.
