As usual, September is giving us more sunshine than August. Having said that, it's raining cats and dogs as I type. (I just looked that expression up and: Norse folklore connects dogs with wind (linked to Odin) and cats with heavy rain (linked to storms and witches).

These ones don't sting. These ones do. They both give me the collywobbles.
Respect to the 1 foot wingspan crow for attacking the 8 foot wingspan Sea Eagle yesterday. Slightly rubbish photo, but it shows the event.

Having watched some true crime TV, I think the best way to prevent yourself from ever getting murdered is to do the following: Never 'light up rooms' when you enter. Never give the impression that you'd give anyone the shirt off your back.
All murder victims seem to have fulfilled these conditions.
I should add. If in the USA, never be an 'aspiring rapper'. That seems pretty much to be a death sentence.
