The music in this movie deserves a special mention. It's an erratic masterpiece.

I'm not even going to bother with the continuity problems.

You asked to see the jellyfish man's head.
You got it.
11/10 for ridiculous costume.

Egon's movements are good metaphor for the movie's editing and script.

We should double bill this movie with Jacob's Ladder. #monsterdon

Look, I don't mind Carpenter movies, but the weakest part has always been the music.
This movie is no exception.

I will say that the movie is trying to say something about society and it's maybe not quite as good at it as They Live was.

@tante@tldr.nettime.org Canada is all-in on this, too. I'm all for getting off of our US tech infra reliance. But why throw that time and effort into a sinkhole, while still throwing money at a US company.

While I was watching "In the Mouth of Madness" my wife was watching "Ghost Town" (2008) and we both agree I was probably watching the better movie.

Is the string of death the rejection that Egon feels? Is this movie trying to actually say something?

Seriously, though. Try to imagine this movie without the music.

Presumably the woman can't hear the advance of the jellyfish man over the overly dramatic and hackneyed music.

I want to, but I'm not gonna make #monsterdon. Just got back from a camping weekend and, for various reasons, I am about to fall asleep.
Enjoy the movie. It's not a complete disaster!
