mastodon 4.7.3I draw things. 🪿🎨
Sketchbook pages, paintings, pottery, embroidery... I have a habit of falling down creative rabbit holes.
Recurring themes: portraits, animals, and very importantly, frogs.
Posts in 🇬🇧. Happy to reply in 🇮🇹 and 🇩🇪 too.
Profile picture: Painting of a frog in a top hat.
Finally finished this one from a few weeks ago.
Learned a lot along the way... trial and error definitely included quite a few errors 😅

Tiny clay guy 💜
I made myself an espresso cup that makes me smile in the morning (and that smiles back!). It stands with its tiny legs on a small tray with just enough space for a biscuit.

Made a little travel tic-tac-toe game 🦖
Sewed a pouch, stitched the board onto it, and made a small army of clay dinosaurs. Once the match is over, they all go back into the bag and continue travelling together peacefully.

Sometimes it’s a frog with a top hat. ✨

Is it just me, or was this week’s #PortraitChallenge hard to draw?
I struggled with the likeness, but at some point I stopped worrying about it and started enjoying the process.
