Snugglebum
FlanFlinger
Former UK based #supplychain professional (inventory analysis and procurement) working in pharma, oil exploration, managed print, secure KVM's, wine and railway rolling stock who got fed up with countless hours commuting, business travel and fighting finance and marketing departments, while getting increasingly despondent with living in a small box with a handkerchief sized garden.
Now in Ireland, surrounded by chickens, dogs and a grumpy cat, fabricating and fixing things for people.

"Anthropic said so on X last week: "We really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade."
"The thing I have to remind myself every time I see one of these claims. This number is not a statistic. It's not based on data. Nothing has been measured or calculated. It's a hunch with a percent sign. That's all.
It's bullshit."
"Owning an EV costs around €1,560 per year, compared with €2,715 for petrol cars and €3,546 for diesel cars."

If you want to commit any crimes in Ireland, this week is the best week to do it, pretty much every garda in the country is currently sat in a gateway to a field in Clare.

Current mood
If it wasn't for the fact I'd drunk too much to safely handle an angle grinder and Mrs Flan would have probably battered me with a selection of heavy tools, this could have very likely had been parked on my drive this morning.
Oh well, back to struggling to load up the car with building materials again.

One first gen, base spec CD and Bluetooth only #nissanleaf brought kicking and screaming up to date with a €65 Android Auto display.
Works very well if you pair everything through Bluetooth, it'll retain steering controls as well.
If only LeafSpy had AA support, but you can get around that by screen sharing.
An excellent breakdown of why the latest Ember report is actually more significant than you think.
Paul Weller - Private Hell (BBC Radio 2 in concert)
Quite soft for punk, but always found The Jams punk style lyrical content/rock/mod crossover mix good
