Government Scientists Fired by Trump Launch New Website for Sharing Climate Data | Futurism Called climate.us, the new site is is built by former staffers behind climate.gov, the NOAA site which researchers, environmental journalists, and insurance underwriters alike have long trusted for accurate climate data — a public service eviscerated by the Trump administration. "Trusted climate information should not disappear when politics change,” Lindsey said in a statement published on the new site. “Climate.us is building an independent, durable platform so people can continue to find the data and information they need to understand and talk about climate, and to teach, report, plan, prepare, and make informed decisions.” #ClimateChange #Climate #NOAA #Science #ClimateUshttps://futurism.com/science-energy/government-scientists-noaa-trump-climate-data

In 2020, while on the International Space Station, Christina Koch sent a message to American Samoa posted on her Instagram, including images of the island from ISS above and a photo of the American Samoa flag she carried with her on the mission against an ISS window with Earth below. Interesting at the NASA news conference in Houston yesterday, Christina used "paddling" as a metaphor about "CREW". For recreation she paddled canoe here. #ChristinaKoch #Artemis2 #NASA #ISS #NOAA #AmericanSamoa

A special Thanks and Award to our talented co-Hosts #ADramaLunies2026 @mel @whoosh for a wonderful event! 🫶🏼 🫶🏼

If she does leave Beijing and goes back to the village, I wonder if it'll be because of the homestay development currently on hold. OR ... maybe the major bookstore will only open there if she agrees to come back and be the manager. Of course, theres also our ML, and his granny .... Just speculating. #cDrama #MeetYourself

@mel Woohoo! Congrats to all the winners! #ADramaLunies2026

@AnnaAnthro@mastodon.social I've been waiting to watch this one as I love director Wong Kar Wai and Hu Ge (NIF), plus it has Ma Yi Li (To The Wonder), Xin Zhi Lei (JOL), and Tiffany Tang (A Moment But Forever). Recently, I had started Ep1 already but found that for me it's a drama where you really have to pay close attention to the dialogue and details, as expected. I need to give it my undivided attention. #cDrama #BlossomsShanghai #HuGe #WongKarWai

@whoosh @mel Thank you both! Voted.

@bougiewonderland @jcurries I think he's more "gray" if I remember correctly, you'll see.

@mel I hated that guy!

@anatole@mapstodon.space I think a North to South listing is logical, as that's how it's shown on maps. Yes, I would suggest the poll to others; some of my followers would fall in that category, although a small minority.

@anatole@mapstodon.space Oops, I meant to vote " between the tropics" instead of "below tropic of Capricorn".
