Replying to

@krislejeune_photographe@mastodon.art not tricky at all - valid, i'd say. 🙂 but i find that there are different people at different places. and i think i may get different things out of different places. for example; i use buttondown for "newsletters" (reflections) on my website. i also intend to start using substack, for another purpose. 🤷🏻‍♀️ reaching different people who may not hang out at the same places, is my goal.

Replying to

@airikr@mst-gts.airikr.me not too long ago, actually. i do have an account that i started 2024, i think. and i did use it, for a very short period of time. didn't stick, obviously. it just doesn't sit right with me, for some reason. 🤔 if it did, i'd still be there. i did log in couple of weeks ago, but - no.

Replying to

@krislejeune_photographe@mastodon.art considering that i left both facebook and instagram within the last month 😅 i don't like meta, and i don't like the constant stress of the mega platforms. yuck! what i prefer is slower platforms, where conversation can happen. such as here. and where my photography is actually seen, not scrolled by in a millisecond. so. i'm trying out new stuff i didn't know existed, to see how i feel about them.

i really don't like waiting for packages that i KNOW are on their way, but DO NOT know where they are, nor WHERE they will land to be picked up. i also DO NOT like or enjoy being tricked into signing up for expensive memberships on a site that is supposed to provide answers on these questions, when the monthly fee is super high. lucky me i got out of it b/c of quick realization and response. #justanswer #internationaldelivery #DHL #pissed_off_customer
