The point where a peacocks feathers merge from his back to the eye plumage. For #TextureTuesday
Well it's #Friday. My brother is coming over for wine and food. This from #Today from my walk around the plant making sure ICE isn't staging to kidnap our workers when the first shift ends. Flowers are a good thing. Sunflowers are a good thing. Born into and/or found families are good things. I saw a post this week saying we should fight AI by being "mad, drunk poets". OK, solid plan.
#BloomScrolling
Walking around the plant #Today I noticed the California sunflowers growing between the back fence and train tracks. I shared this to a chat group and a dear old friend replied with the Sunflower Sutra. This one was new to me so, passing along...

A couple of low to the ground flowers from a short hike this morning. Happy #BloomScrolling
May you trails be filled with #WildFlowers
I was leaving the mechanic when I noticed the back of their street facing sign was weathered and some old remnant of a previous sign was showing through. For #TextureTuesday #MobilePhotography

A very old friend jumped into a Signal chat with me to remind me that 12 years ago I shared this video with him and he wanted to say thanks. It's funny how a word and the exploration of a word can grow to frame an experience. I think about this a lot. https://vimeo.com/83358821
Every afternoon before first shift gets off for the day I walk around the parking lot and building on what I call my ICE-walk. Just want make sure fascists aren't staging nearby to hassle the people I work with.
Anyway, I'm doing my walk when I'm suddenly passed by what I assume is an aged homeless man in a black hoodie. He was riding a bright pink womans beach cruiser and had a shiny brass trumpet strapped to his back with some paracord.
And, again, I am adrift and a-sondering... #Today
oof, position and prevailing winds. Fingers crossed...
