Lpt: a circular saw is quicker than a sawzall on 2in aluminum pipes. If you aren’t sure what kind of metal you’re working with, use a magnet. If it sticks, use a sawzall. If it doesn’t, use a circular saw. With a little practice, you can get through a 2in pipe in under 45 seconds (12s is my record for 2in aluminum pipe) How you use that little tidbit of info is up to you I guess, I just like sharing information about metalworking, since I’m a hobby level blacksmith. And just in case you want to go camping with your metalworking tools, as one does, there are some decent brands that fit nicely in a backpack, and you can get around your campground quickly with bicycles. Just don’t bring your phone, they ruin bike trips.

I love when people loredump. After they’ve said their piece, I usually have to tell them I have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about since I’m not part of that particular niche Fandom but by all means keep telling me things about it. There’s a park near me with some rather perfectly spaced trees for hammocking, and I will sometimes go out to a local tex-mex place and order my favorite burrito, some sweet tea, and chill in a hammock while smoking weed, watch the birds, the trees swaying in the breeze, and generally stop being a person for a little bit. It’s nice to do nothing without feeling like I’m wasting time.

I wanted to buy it, but the letter made up my mind that I was never giving them money again. Fuck em. Dead rising went downhill after the first one anyway so I didn’t miss much. Executives view life as a zero-sum game.

Spoken like someone who has absolutely no idea what it’s like to try and organize people scattered across a fucking continent. Specifically a continent with very poor access to public services that would make organization easier. A continent where even speaking out can cost your your job and therefore Healthcare. A continent where your neighbor might be someone who agrees with you, or they might blow your head off because they thought you might vote for a lefty. A continent where the government has already threatened to murder any citizen they want just for fighting back against their authoritarian boot. A continent where your closest regional capital might be hours away. My state is larger than most European countries. The logistics of organizing real action on this scale is insane. And a lot of very rich people have spent a lot of money for a very long time to make sure it’s as hard to do anything about their tyrannical bullshit as possible. The best most of us can do is vote, try and organize like-minded people locally, and survive the next week.

She was still married 6 months later, going on vacation and posting about how much she loves her husband. I have never been able to sleep mid-day (take naps) since I was 5 or 6. It upset my parents of course, when I was still “napping age” but “refused” to do so. Plenty of times as an adult I’ve been exhausted and still couldn’t sleep. Cool room, blackout curtains, even a basement room without windows and away from other sounds wasn’t enough. Yesterday I pushed my spouse in a wheelchair for a bit in the park before we left because of the heat. I was out the minute I laid down and woke up 6 or 7 hours later still feeling like shit. If my grandparents were around, I’m sure they wouldn’t have made it through this summer since they never had AC
