I'd like to share that I just had a successful half hour phone call with my mother and honestly you could more easily have convinced me of first contact than that happening ✨ 2026 baby! I might need to have a lie down now though.

For the last few months I've been seeing a solo pigeon on the window ledge of the house across and it brings me to tears.
A bit over a year ago our neighbours cut down all the trees in their backyard. It changed everything, especially the homes of these two pigeons. So they resorted to sitting on this window ledge. They snuggled together, pushed into each other. Smoosh.
And then I only saw one. A solo pigeon. And it made me bawl. I kept seeing just one, and bawling.
Anyway today there were two once again so I just wanted to share about staring at pigeons delusionally anthropomorphising them while crying is a feature in my life currently. War is the worst! Stop that now. 💕
I haven't posted a check in here for ages! I'm sorry Bluesky family 🫂 I hope you're all coping as well as can be whatever corner of the world you're in (and I'm so sorry if you're in any of the currently really scary places).
I've been a bit hermit like as the weather has turned cold here so quickly, it feels like winter even though it's only the middle of autumn. I'm not ready for the cold in any way! It's happening, I'm turning into an old person!! (This is a silly joke, I find myself thinking about age and how unrelateable it is a lot).
My guy is taking a weeks leave from his work because his health is suffering which sucks. He looks after me so seeing him be harmed by work is really hard to manage. I try to help as much as I can but I feel so guilty not working myself.
We're going to go to the countryside for a couple of days tomorrow. I'm having lots of daydreams about removing screens from my life. It's scary how addictive they are and how little I realise my reliance on them.
I'm very grateful for the state of my health and my ability to understand and have compassion for what I'm experiencing. It's certainly a journey and not a destination. I'm getting really good at holding the bad in one hand while moving forwards with the other though. Sending you lots of love 💕
I had a little stroke of identity brilliance this morning 🥰
I am Osteopathically trained but I am not an Osteopath (nor do I work as one anymore due to disability).
This has been such a hard realisation to come to and express for a range of reasons. My trauma experiences for one but also because of the way cults behave. You're only allowed to be part of cults if you adhere to their rules, no matter what your opinion of the rules are (yeah the autism DIDN'T like that 🫠).
I don't identify with cults anymore, no matter how benign appearing! I do identify as myself though 😍✨
