Let’s cut any bullshit. Iran’s government is not good, but America has not attacked Iran to liberate the people from its oppressive regime, it has done it purely in its own and Israel’s imperial interests. Remember the US toppled a democratically elected and popular government in Iran in 1953 because it had the temerity to want to use its natural resources for the good of its own people. The US put an autocrat who would play ball with US interests in its place, eventually leading to the Islamist revolution of 1979. The US does not give one tiny shit about the people of Iran. The US has no qualms with the oppressive regimes of Saudi Arabia or UAE. Today, think of the good people of Iran. #War #Politics #Iran

Awful news. I have so many amazing memories of The Frames and his solo gigs, most recently in 2024 but going back probably 25 years; just incredible live. So sad. #Mastodaoine Glen Hansard, singer, frontman of The Frames and Oscar winner, has died aged 56 https://jrnl.ie/7116253
