:P edit: Ich glaub, es GEHT OHNE SMARTFON!

@AliceStollmeyer@eupolicy.social @_elena@mastodon.social There's a democracy to be saved? I didn't know!

@Meowthias@mastodon.world In, dunno, 2005 I think, I found two or three articles online written by people who tried to shut down their facebook account, and to have all their postings and stuff permanently deleted. They described that this was impossible, they described all the hassle they had with facebook. So I decided never ever to join fb. I was young, I wasn't really internet savvy, yet I found that information and I learned from it.

@Meowthias@mastodon.world I know it's not helpful. It's a comment and a bit of glee. Though it might be helpful for the future: To remind folks to get informed before signing up to something that collects so much data.

@Meowthias@mastodon.world I'm not telling anyone that it is impossible, coz I wouldn't know. I am telling people to get informed — with a story that shows how easy that can be — because it's the wise, the healthy thing to do. Always.

Alles derselbe Dreck. Ist halt ein Unterhaltungsspektakel.
