Aqloss is a nice music player I found on flatpak I’m not seeing many people taking about it online when talking about music player on Linux, So I make this post to spread the word www.nokarin.xyz/projects/aqloss#download , flathub.org/en/apps/xyz.nokarin.aqloss

I doom scroll Flathub Found a lot of interesting softwares in there

Nah I can manage my addiction

toolBLEx cool Bluetooth analyzer Vermouth games launcher made for KDE/Qt Fog Panther an Affinity/Photoshop clone made only available for Linux (paid proprietary) Deja Dup files backup to local or cloud storage No More Background a adb GUI tool to disable app on Android from running in the background

Because it looks nice (prettier than most player on Linux IMO) also visualizer and lyrics fetching is pretty cool too

a mix between entertainment, utility or productivity

Maybe but I did scroll and install/testing softwares for 3 hours, I also learn how to compile simpler software from sources that don’t have any build instruction because some of the stuff I found only available on flathub.

What you have phone?

Nowadays it’s harder to find a trustworthy sources for cracked softwares than games even from the wiki, that’s I switched all of my softwares to open source

Yeah it kinda showy but in a way I like it

People always making fun of Linux update for making their sound or networks drivers stopped working. While Windows update outright corrupt your bios who the fuck think it’s a good idea to push bios update via windows update?, it can’t even get video driver update right. Before you flaming me for using microslop windows this is my brother laptop not mine

Good news for 12 Linux users who has fingerprint working

It's a heavily customized KDE Desktop Environment

What audio server did you use? I use pipewire, I only need to install *-openrc equivalent packages on top of base pipewire packages and enable it with OpenRC for it to work

I would love to have one as a novelty item for installing Linux on it, I always thought using Linux on touchscreen is super cool. but it's expensive as fuck

Arch use systemd and it do not let you choose init systems, you probably can replace it but from what I've read online it can causes a lot of issues

I have a separate /home partition, So I don't have to redo any customization, honestly it's just init systems I don't loss anything

No problems, if you have any issues you can ask me in this thread

It's not that hard to use, you only need to learn a few basics OpenRC command (how to enable/disable services stop/start services and service status), as for docs I haven't read any yet

just in case picture above did not show up

Yeah sometimes may some laptop it will hardbrick your bios chip, require programer to reflash or replace the chip

Lol lmfao even

Tbh any distro should be fine even the most bloated distro still lighter than Windows, if all you do is streaming 8gb should be more than enough

Yeah I kinda got lucky this time

If you can provide one without any DE that would be nice

Yeah fuck them both then, dell think it’s a good idea and microslop also think it’s a good and allowed dell to do it

Yes

Damn

I only used Linux for 2 years and I never had any problems with driver after update or any problems in general really.

Luckily this time it didn’t fry the bios chip, but I wasted 2 hours fucking around and waiting for dell diagnostic tool to complete

And AI is making sure that global warming is more effective

Most logistics companies in my country run on browser so if it is the same in Italy it shouldn’t be too hard to switch

A browser forked from KHTML by KDE

Calling a beta software questionable is a very questionable take

Is mainstream distros shipped it by default? cuz I never heard or have it installed

I got nostalgic because that lady is on an English book cover I used to study in middle school (I forgot the title of the book tho)
