So uhhhhh
I tried buying a laptop that I need for uni twice and I had to return it twice
The first time I bought it off of eBay and I got scammed and after months of fighting on paypal, thankfully I got refunded and I managed to return it, although the seller is still sending me legally threatening emails with no actual legal basis to this day
The second time Vinted determined that its CPU was failing or something so it got automatically returned
Luckily I got all of my money back
Is the thinkpad really a good choice when 2/2 attempts were not useful? I think I want to go for a safer choice aka something new, unless I am doing something wrong when it comes to online shopping
Does fedi have any tips? I have been using a very temporary, borrowed, and suboptimal setup for more than 6 months now
I have learned Qt and made a simple app!
It's a Pomodoro timer app built with QtQuick and Kirigami
I ensured that it works best on all screen sizes and device types, I paid close attention to animations and made sure it looks great even with custom themes :D
Hope it is as useful to everyone else as it is to me
So someone irl who has a Thinkpad recommended me to get a refurbished one from Amazon as it costs less than stores like thinkstore24, is this a valid option or is it risky in some way? Would fedi recommend it?
