Just back from the dentist. They saw to me ten mins earlier than appointed, didn't waste time with small talk, got on with the job and I was out fast.

Hell the Hygienist said I was doing a good job at brushing, just need to pay more attention to the back of my teeth and not just the front and to come back in 6 months.

First time I saw him, I had to come back in 3 months, then the next time 4, then 5, now 6 months. Feels good to know I finally taking care of my teeth properly.

Like it if you want, but Voyager was a weak star trek series.
Inconsistent writing, wildly varying character motivations, too many reset buttons and time travel episodes and god damn neelix who was so bad at everything, THE CHEESE HE MADE INFECTED THE SHIP.

I wanted it to be a daily struggle for survival, resource management and fucked choices to stay alive.
I remember a YT video of janeway being told they had 30 some torpedoes and giving the order to conserve them because they couldn't restock. The rest of the video shows them firing those torpedoes off like a 4th july celebration, going WAY past the 30 they said they had.

And the Maquis. Remember them? The ones that left the federation and wanted independence? They came on board voyager after being brought to delta quadrant.

Did we get multi season arc of the Maquis and feds slowly coming together and trusting each other, of dealing with friction and mistrust?

Did we get the supposed utopia of the federation pick at by the Maquis, a mirror held up to what it means to be in the federation?

No. Within the first season, maybe season and an half, everyone was best buds. The ones that never came round left and became occasional (and forgettable) enemies.

SO MUCH WASTED POTENTIAL.

It was been many years since I last watched Voyager, so roast me for being wrong if you want, but I still think voyager wasn't as strong as it should have been.
