Ive taken a bit of time to try and put this into a coherent form following the killing of Kirk so here goes -

Dear America. If you allow your population minimal restrictions on their access to guns, you cannot possibly be surprised when some nut job runs amock and shoots people. If you add the fact that you are a very large country with a large population, then these instances will become pretty commonplace. Factor in that your politics has become pretty toxic partly fueled by politicians and media sources with scant interest in truth and the rule of law then you cannot be surprised when said nut jobs start shooting political figures. That then spirals when the factions apportion all fault to the other side, suggesting that its all part of a conspiracy and not random lunacy, thus further ramping up the tension. From an external perspective it looks as though you are on the brink of civil war - I hope it doesn't come to that, but confidence is pretty low....

I've often mused about publishing a book "A British pictoral guide to wildlife" showing pictures of the corpses of all the animals killed in our roads. Drove along the A505 & A11 to Norwich - approx 90 miles - around 10 dead badgers, possibly as many as 20 dead deer plus lots of birds and multiple unidentifiable bloody carcasses. Hmmm

Could Trumps insistence that the UK and the EU increase their military expenditure have anything to do with the significant proportion of existing budgets being spent with US corporations? UK 30-40%, EU 65% So if we up our spending by £3 billion, £1 billion goes straight to America (2 billion in the case of the EU)
