I haven’t posted here in a while. I completely forgotten this account existed.

Right now we are living through what is basically the prelude to a dark era of history. It is especially frustrating that I warn people, and they have either been suckered, or do not care.

Project 2025 is something that should be strongly opposed, and if Trump wins, we ALL lose. It is the master plan to enact fascist rule in America. It includes things like the complete erosion of whatever protections remain, the total control of our lives by the state, religious indoctrination at an early age, the list goes on…

I want to sound the alarm more, I want to warn those they are being suckered. I wish could draw better. I wish I could write better. I want that glimmer of hope that we won’t be plunged into darkness. I am BEGGING you reading this to heed my warning.

So a small rant…

The problem with built-in HDMI is certain operating systems (more specifically Linux) does not have support outside of workarounds. It maddens me knowing you cannot use the built-in ports because of patent trolling when you can opt for USB-C or Display Port, which does the exact same thing, but Display Port has better bandwidth, and most importantly, does not fuck people over with DRM, licensing, or legal hit squads. Thank goodness I have display port as an option, but the fact that I have to render my HDMI ports next to useless because of shitty patent trolls really pisses me off.

The HDMI Forum can go fuck themselves.

Last week, I got Arch up and running, and it isn’t broken (yet). I’m still keeping the manual on hand for troubleshooting. Anyways, I have it plugged into a TV temporarily because I need to make some tweaks to be able to run the computer in another room.

One thing I am wanting to do is get a wireless display connector that hooks up to displayport (see my rant on the HDMI forum for why), but those seem to be quite rare.

I’m jealous of the Flipper Zero

New mini PC is here. Gonna look at uninstalling Windows and putting Linux on it. May go with Arch or Fedora on it. Looking for something I can learn to code on, especially for a Discord bot.
