Happy Birthday from the Rudel 🥂

Our best experience was when Tiffi rolled around on a badger that had been dead for a week. It was summer. She was really happy about it. I wasn't.

What a beautiful day. It was supposed to rain, but somehow the rain moved elsewhere. So the Rudel enjoyed the sun and clouds. And two very long walks along the Alb. We have it very good.

A long evening walk. Yes, the east wind is cold, but the evening sun warms the Rudel's coats and jackets. The kites take to the skies above the meadow, and Éclaire politely asks for a piece of Bleu d’Auvergne. A lovely day.

Another day with the usual routine. We might have to go out again on Monday because the chronicler’s father is being a bit stubborn in his old age, and we can’t expect his sister to handle it all on her own. But today was a wonderful day; a thunderstorm slowly rolled in, and we got just the right amount of wet. A lovely day.

We actually got up early today because the ladies wanted to walk the Sentier de Littoral with the dogs – whilst the chronicler and driver organised the rest of the transport. We then drove past Aix through the Luberon and arrived in Reillanne. The Rudel are still a bit unsettled when people jump into the pool, but apart from that they’re very happy with the garden and all the new smells here. #dogsofpixelfed #dogsofmastodon #chiens #var

First of all: 13 years ago today, Ici arrived from Spain. The vet there reckoned she was about 1 year old, so today is her birthday. She’s a wonderful dog and we’re so happy to have her with us every day. We’ve also arrived home safely, after a walk along the canal, a visit to the Théâtre gallo-romain de Mandeure and the obligatory final bit of shopping in France. A wonderful holiday – but now we’re looking forward to everyday life at home. We hope you’ve enjoyed following our journey with us a little. #dogsofpixelfed #dogsofmastodon #rudel
