Operation Epic Fury cost estimated at $25-50 billion
Operation Epic Fury has come with a staggering price tag for American taxpayers. The U.S. Department of War Comptroller officially estimates the cost of the military campaign at $25 billion. However, independent sources, including CBS, suggest the true figure is closer to $50 billion. This would make the actual cost roughly double the Pentagon's publicly stated amount. Crucially, this estimate does not account for damaged or destroyed equipment and U.S. military installations.
