#procrastination

I am not going to finish my PhD or this puzzle anytime soon. #AcademicChatter #procrastination

I don't want to go....to bed. That means it becomes Monday faster. #doctorwho #procrastination #bedtime #monday

One of these days I'm going to take the time to write up, with examples, an explanation of why I think the books of Neal Stephenson and Jim Butcher function as fan lit for incels and redpilled men. It took me a while to see it, but that's partly because I was reading these books while those reactionary fascism-adjacent (and pipeline) movements were being built, and as I was developing my own political morality. But yeah. It's hard to read those anymore, especially Stephenson. Once I saw the patterns, I couldn't unsee them. #sff #IWillTotallyDoThisSomeday #procrastination #nealstephenson #jimbutcher

• enjoys #soup, #CloseHarmony, #mountainhiking, #repairing, and #vegan food, but not #procrastination, #CognitiveDissonance, #Necropolitics, or #InstitutionalRacism;
• supports fair trade and #FairChain/#FairShare (FairTrade is a colonial concept that reinforces inequality), #organic, and therefore avoids shops and online stores run by exploiters (of the earth, including people);
• believes that most people are decent, and look up to those who stand for love and radical equality and ‘drive the money-changers from the temple’, but are naturally fearful and therefore easily choose leaders who sell hatred, discrimination in service of those who exploit;
• is a militant #pacifist with an understanding of defensive violence (against mosquitoes and exploiters);
• has the privilege of being able to choose paid work that benefits the world and ...
• philosophises briefly on the world and then at length on the text he has written;
• fact-checks what he shares, and the authors he quotes, but sometimes not, or only afterwards;

Not to brag, but I put the ‘pro’ in ‘procrastination’. #nottobrag #procrastination

In the true spirit of procrastination, as the sun is out and the weather is dry, I have just been gardening instead of doing the things I should be doing inside on the computer. #gardening #procrastination #ARoundTuit
