#petrats

Once Fermi was finished, Truffle presented himself for pets. Quercy promptly appeared to question the whole matter, because pets are immoral and only indicate unhealthy dependence on the thumb-beast. #petRats #rats

Fermi needed pets. #petRats #rats

Quercy is highly suspicious of this whole "out" thing. HIGHLY. SUSPICIOUS. #petRats #rats

It's #Raturday, and the thumb-beast has stolen the poo again! Our world will never be the same again! #petRats #rats

Truffle at the Treat Puzzle #petRats #rats

"Don't worry, brudder. We're here to bust ya out of the joint." #petRats #rats

I got egg for breakfast, so I naturally paid my tithe. #petRats #rats

Quercy is doing well after surgery, but has to remain separate from his brothers for a while. Here's Fermi, visiting the inmate. #petRats #rats

Truffle would like everyone to know that while his fur is incredibly soft and very pettable, he has bodily autonomy and you may only touch him with his permission. #petRats #rats

Busy cuddling. Depart this place, foul thumb-beast! #petRats #rats

Truffle requires ear rubs. #petRats #rats

Stacked snuggles! #petRats #rats

For the record, I do not hand the guys treats on a golden platter. It's a tiny white platter. #petRats #rats

This could be us. Get in the hammock. #petRats #rats

That's one crowded box. #petRats #rats

Fermi, heading out to take on the day. #petRats #rats

I'm told that the guys are ready for me to come home. When I arrive, they will act all snooty and offended that I dare disturb them. I'll leave the room, count to five, and walk back in. They'll fling themselves at me going "No, we didn't mean it, love us!" #petRats #rats

Quercy is worried that the ratsitter is not delivering the usual platters of steak, cheese, and whiskey that is their normal repast. I have informed the ratsitter that Quercy is lying through his whiskers. #petRats #rats

Update: Fermi wants still more trouble, but will settle for pets. #petRats #rats cute pet rat peering out of his cage door, moving around like he can find a way down. My giant hand is petting him.
