Hello Mathstodon! I’m Denys Dutykh, an applied mathematician at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi. I work on nonlinear waves, PDEs, scientific computing and mathematical physics. Water waves and tsunamis have been a long-standing focus; more recent projects include black holes and Markov numbers. I’m also interested in what AI can contribute to mathematical research, and how we verify the results. I’ll share papers, work in progress and occasional reflections on doing mathematics.
