I arrived at Tipsoo Lake early Saturday morning hoping to see alpenglow on Mount Rainier.
After waiting a little while, the light began to appear on the summit. It was a little faint at first, then those beautiful golden-red tones started to show, with pink reflected in the water.
I really enjoy seeing this every time I go. Watching that light change across the mountain, especially with the reflection in the lake, makes the early start and the drive well worth it.
It truly is a peaceful way to start the morning. 🏔️📷
