He violated the order not to approach his former girlfriend, arrested twice in 24 hours.
The Carabinieri of Messina Centro arrested a 38-year-old Messinese twice within a 24-hour period for violating the precautionary order prohibiting contact with his ex-girlfriend.
The story began on September 15th with the man’s report for abuse and the subsequent activation of protections under the “Red Code” protocol, culminating on September 22nd in the execution of his eviction from the family home with a ban on approaching the woman.
On Wednesday night, September 23rd, after failing to contact the victim, officers from the Camaro and Faro Superiore Stations went to her residence, surprising the 38-year-old. Arrested in flagrante and placed under house arrest in another house, the man was carefully monitored by patrols, who feared a repeat offense.
The Carabinieri's intuition proved accurate: In the afternoon of the same Wednesday, September 23rd, officers from the Radiomobile Unit and the Camaro Superior Station caught him again attempting to approach his ex-girlfriend. Blocked for the second time in one day, he was transferred to the Messina Gazzi prison.
