Is there an utility application (or maybe a plugin for a DAW) that analyses a midi file and gives statistical data with graphs and histograms and stuff on which notes are used, how often, and when that shifts over the course of the file etc?
It could be a really useful aid for music analysis. My specific use case would be deciding on bespoke microtunings for a specific piece.
If any music/code/data visualisation nerds want to write such a program I'd love to collaborate on design and function. But maybe something like this already exists?
I think it would be fairly easy on the coding side, but there might be some design challenges.

People who make music on Linux! Can anyone point me to a good source of info on getting Windows VSTs working in Linux? (Bonus points for Linux Mint)
I have tried various configurations of WINE, Bottles, yabridge, and have so far had no luck getting Arturia plugins working in Bitwig.
I've seen lots of people saying Arturia stuff works ok in Linux, so I'm sure it's doable, but I am currently stumped.

I mitt projekt att spela in Livs ords låtar på riktigt och lägga på Bandcamp är min plan att göra det helt på Linux. Är det någon som vet en mixtekniker som jobbar helt på Linux och i Reaper?
In my project to record "Livs ord" (in Swedish) and release on Bandcamp, I'm trying to do it wholly on Linux. Does anybody know a mixing technician who works exclusively on Linux and Reaper?
