In 2017, 47 attending to mark the 100th anniversary of the US entering WWI. This week's parade was Macron's 10th & last before he leaves office. Instead of a single guest of honor, the Champs-Élysées filled with troops from a 35 nation coalition supporting Ukraine, soldiers from Kyiv among them, 6,800 service members total, a record for the French national holiday. @VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social#NATO #FrenchPol A huge upgrade, I'd say! 🤗
