Update of our paper is now available on arXiv! 📄 "The bosonic Hubbard model on a three-dimensional flat band lattice" (arXiv:2604.19703) 🔗 http://arxiv.org/abs/2604.19703 We present a frustration-free bosonic Hubbard model on a 3D flat band lattice, the line graph of the cubic lattice. For the first time (to our knowledge), we observe subextensive ground state entropy in a bosonic lattice model. The result is related to the number of 4-cycle decompositions of the cubic lattice, for which we derive upper and lower bounds. Co-authored with Leon Haag-Fank.
