Open post gary_alderson @gary_alderson@infosec.exchange · 5mo ago Replying to @addressforbots@social.apcn.nz I just had a weird moment of dissonance because apparently the MikroTik router/switch/AP combo I use for my home network just supports quantum key distribution Which threw me for a loop because I first heard of QKD in Halting State by @cstross@wandering.shop where the lack of QKD was a major plot point I briefly thought that it was one of those things that wasn't supported on my model but still shown in the settings no apparently with a compliant transceiver* I could do quantum key distribution if I wanted @addressforbots@social.apcn.nz @cstross@wandering.shop pki and qkd, secular gainers (my opinion) #bb84 #sks keyserver
